Meet The Artist: Kerry Boan Creative
Hello, I’m Kerry, the illustrator and surface pattern designer behind Kerry Boan Creative, based in Delaware, USA. My greatest inspiration comes from nature and florals, particularly the pollinator garden I tend at home. I’m also drawn to historical patterns and vintage designs, and I love exploring color, texture, and pattern to bring fresh vibrancy to my work.
My signature style is detailed, intricate, and lush. I focus on elevating small moments from nature into captivating stories, adding a touch of modern sophistication to your life, home, and design projects. My process begins with hand-drawn sketches, which I then transform into detailed vector art.
When I’m not illustrating or designing, you’ll find me in my garden, browsing thrift stores for hidden gems, cooking, learning something new, or working on DIY home decor projects in my 120-year-old Victorian-style home. I’m excited to share my patterns with you here on The Textile District and can’t wait to see how they inspire your next project!
