Designer Profile Blair Lambert

We’re thrilled to introduce Blair Lambert, the newest artist to join The Textile District’s Designer Program and her "Ducklings in the Rain" and "Hedgehogs" fabric collections! Blair brings a unique blend of creativity and charm to her designs, drawing inspiration from a life rich with experiences and a deep love for animals:

"Hello! My name is Blair. After attending graduate school in New York City, operating a preschool and even working on an aircraft carrier, I now live a quiet yet creative life in upstate New York with my family. You can usually find me at home drawing or out in my barn with my chickens. I love all animals and find it fun to feature animal characters. I also find a ton of inspiration in vintage children’s illustrations and products. You can typically recognize my hand drawn work by its calming child-like colors and traditional design elements. It brings me joy to see my work on products, especially in the kid and natural “worlds”, two spaces of life I live every day."
