Meet the Artist: See Three Studios

Published by NannetteD on 25th Jun 2022

Join us as we welcome Sarah Weerth Pinkerton, the artist behind See Three Studios, and newest designer to join us on The Textile District!

See Three Studios is a multidisciplinary surface design studio specializing in textiles, stencils & home furnishings. Their seasonal collections are designed in-house by founder Sarah Weerth Pinkerton in our Bucerías, Mexico studio with her signature blend of punchy colors and vibrant patterns.

Sarah received her fine arts degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has been a freelance designer and teaching artist for 25 years. She currently works in a digital mixed media style - with collage & printmaking her go-to analog mediums. She can always be found with a camera in hand, finding inspiration in nature and history.

We are thrilled to introduce "Desert Springs" -- a carefully curated design collection available in multiple colorways to mix and match: "Behind breeze block walls, under swooping butterfly roofs, poolside cocktails flow. This is classic Palm Springs: mid century patterns warmed by the colors of the desert."

So let's get started!!

Agave - Abstract Fabric by the Yard

Modern, minimal leaf print has a bold, yet organic feel that plays well with geometrics and florals alike.

Atomic Ranch - Geometric Fabric by the Yard

Classic geometric breeze block pattern pays homage to the iconic desert front yard screens.

Bougies - Geometric Fabric by the Yard

Stylized bougainvilleas floral print design fits into even the most mid century-inspired space.

Eichler - Abstract Fabric by the Yard

Faux bois design is inspired by Eichler's signature architectural use of wood paneling.

Lucille - Geometric Fabric by the Yard

Abstract polka dot design with a retro twist brings to mind one of Palm Spring's most beloved residents and that infamous TV episode at the chocolate factory.

Palm Canyon Drive - Geometric Fabric by the Yard

Cruising on the main drag: Palm Canyon Drive design is a curvilinear pattern with a vintage grasscloth background inspired by cruising culture and the expression of freedom it created.

Sandro - Geometric Fabric by the Yard

Inspired by the work of Alexander Girard (affectionately known as Sandro), this bold pattern created by See Three Studios pays homage to the designer's playful use of abstract forms and geometric motifs.

Sansevieria - Abstract Fabric by the Yard

Snake plants or mother-in-law's tongue are the quintessential mid century modern plant with minimal, sword-like foliage. Our Sansevieria fabric print is a stylized interpretation that will bring a bold, organic statement to any space.
