Meet Mackenzie Nelson, a Utah native, wife, homeschooling mom, and lifelong artist with an unwavering passion for creativity. From a young age, Mackenzie immersed herself in art, dabbling in drawing, painting, sewing, sculpting, and any other artistic pursuit she could lay her hands on. Although initially pursuing a Studio Art Major at BYU, Mackenzie redirected her path upon marriage, eventually earning a bachelor's degree in Marriage and Family Science in 2022. Throughout her journey, Mackenzie's surroundings, family, and love for art fueled her creativity, leading her to develop a penchant for painting oil portraits, landscapes, and florals.

Recently, Mackenzie ventured into surface pattern design, discovering a newfound love for creating vibrant, aesthetically pleasing patterns inspired by her passion for art and interior design. Believing in the profound impact of beautiful patterns on our emotions, Mackenzie aims to craft delicate yet modern designs infused with playful motifs and cohesive color palettes.

Beyond her design endeavors, Mackenzie finds joy in exploring various artistic mediums, tending to her garden, jogging, baking sourdough bread, and cherishing moments with her husband and three children.
