Do you have a physical store location?

No. The Textile District is an online-only fabric store, but our office and custom fabric printing services are based in Charlotte, North Carolina. If you need help with a project, fabric selection, or a custom order, our team is available through our Contact Us page.

How do I purchase fabric from The Textile District?

You can browse our online catalog to shop artist-designed fabrics, then choose the design, colorway, and base fabric that works best for your project. Because designs are digitally stored, they are available to print on the base fabrics we offer, subject to current substrate availability.

Can I get fabric printed with my own design?

Can you help with large, commercial, or specialty projects?

Can you print more than a few yards?

Yes. The Textile District can accommodate larger quantities, and volume pricing is available at qualifying yardage levels on the same substrate. For larger custom requirements, please reach out so we can help you plan the best approach.

Can I supply my own fabric for printing?

Fabric Quality, Color & Care

Do you print on colored fabrics?

All of our base fabrics are white, and color is printed onto the fabric. This helps provide the best possible clarity and consistency from our digital fabric printing process.

What kind of dyes do you use?

The Textile District uses fiber-reactive dyes in our digital fabric printing process for applicable substrates. These dyes are chosen for their ability to produce rich color, clear detail, and a soft finished feel.

Is your process eco-conscious?

Yes. Our process is OEKO-TEX® certified, and our made-to-order production model supports more intentional ordering by helping reduce excess inventory.

What fabrics do you print on?

How do I know which colors will print best?

Screen color is only an approximation of the printed result. Color can appear differently from one monitor to another, and the same design may look different from one base fabric to another. For the most reliable preview, we recommend ordering a test print on your chosen substrate whenever color is critical.

Will my printed fabric look exactly like it does on my screen?

Not exactly. Monitor calibration, screen brightness, and fabric type all influence how color is perceived. Natural fibers, blends, and synthetic fabrics can each affect the final appearance, which is why sampling is the best way to confirm color and scale before placing a larger order.

Is the fabric colorfast?

Our printing process is designed to produce project-ready fabric with strong, lasting color under normal use and care. As with any textile product, long-term performance depends on the fabric type, end use, laundering method, and level of wear.

How should I care for my fabric?

Care recommendations vary by substrate, so it is important to review the guidance for the specific fabric you are considering. If your project has particular care requirements, our team can help you choose the most suitable base fabric before you order.

Does the fabric shrink?

Some shrinkage is normal in textile production and care, and performance can vary by substrate. We recommend reviewing the care information for the specific base fabric you choose and allowing for normal fabric behavior when planning your project.

Do you print stretch fabrics?

Yes. We offer a polyester spandex 4-way stretch knit for projects that call for flexibility, recovery, and comfortable movement, including swim, dance, activewear, and other fitted garments. Shipping & Returns

Do you ship internationally?

The Textile District currently ships within the United States and Canada. If you have questions about shipping or are unable to check out, please contact our customer service team for assistance.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the items in your order and the delivery destination. The best way to estimate shipping is to add items to your cart and proceed through checkout, where available shipping options will appear before payment is submitted.

Do you accept returns?

Because fabric is printed on demand for each order, returns are not accepted unless we made an error. If you have questions about a design, colorway, or base fabric before ordering, we are happy to help.

Do you have a Designer Program?
